Rachel Spillane

Rachel graduated from the University of Limerick in 2020 with a BSc (Hons) degree in Physiotherapy. During her time in UL, her practice and training were enriched in each core area of physiotherapy. It was during this time that she became particularly interested in chronic pain and musculoskeletal injuries. During her short period from graduation, she has divided into every aspect of physiotherapy ranging from acute medical conditions, geriatric musculoskeletal conditions, and general health and well-being.

Being a keen sportswoman herself Rachel has been involved and is currently involved in a range of sports teams such as GAA, Rugby, and soccer as well as involved in the care of the elderly. Rachel believes that every person has the tools to maintain a healthy and pain-free life, regardless of sage. Education and self-management strategies play an important role in her treatment.

Since graduating Rachel has kept up to date with her training and has specialized training in the areas of dry needling, manual soft tissue massage, and exercise prescription. As a young enthusiastic and motivated physiotherapist, she will aid your road to recovery and facilitate your every need by providing a personalized home exercise program and a hands on approach for a range of different conditions.
