OUR PHYSIOTHERAPY
Our service is founded on the use of expert clinical experience and the strongest research, to create a plan that meets your needs. We blend hands-on-treatment with exercise prescription, education and electrical modalities to ensure a full recovery. While resolving your problem is our number one priority, we also strongly believe that we can play a vital role in your life-long health, through exercise and education
Helping people with pain relief and reducing stiffness for any part of the body, is second nature to us. The rehabilitation of back and neck pain is a significant part of our work. We are experienced with joint and muscle injury or chronic conditions such as arthritis, stroke or multiple sclerosis. Equally, if you need a massage to ease pain, or an orthotic to help a foot problem, we can help you there too.

OUR HISTORY
In 1992, Chartered Physiotherapist Phyllis Dolan and her husband Jim, established the clinic in the heart of Castletroy. Their goal was to help people with pain or injury recover quickly and return to their normal lives. Since then the clinic has grown significantly. We continue to provide physiotherapy treatment to people with joint pains, back aches, sports injuries and many other health conditions.

At Castletroy Physiotherapy Clinic, we have a long association with sport, having been the sole provider of Physiotherapy to Munster rugby over a 10 year period. We continue to take great interest in the rehabilitation of sports injuries, including ankle sprains, muscle strains, cartilage or ligament injury of the knee, to name but a few. We are very proud to be celebrating over 30 years, supporting the recovery of people from Limerick, Tipperary and Clare.
Did you know ….. Physiotherapy rehabilitation following surgery, ensures a quicker and more complete recovery.
Whether you are recovering from a total hip or knee replacement, have had surgery on your rotator cuff, or need a rehabilitation plan after a lower back or neck procedure, Physiotherapists are ideally trained to guide you back to full health and fitness.
Following surgery, we regularly help people to understand what activities they can and should resume, develop a bespoke exercise plan and provide manual treatments, to accelerate recovery and pain relief.
